In keeping with our mission to promote the positive aspects of games,

The Nuke-Con community was enormously generous in 2010, donating toys and money worth more than $1200. We hope to top that mark in 2011, and we need your help again.
You can start the weekend with this throwback to your own childhood:
Friday, 6 pm join the most grueling game of Candyland you’ve ever played. The $5 donation at the table will go directly to Toys for Tots.

Nominations Now Being Accepted for the Nuke-Con Board of Directors · Sunday August 7, 2011 by Norajane McIntyre
Every year Nuke-Con holds an election for a member of our Board of Directors. This person will hold the seat for two years.
Nominations are open now for the term that runs from October 2011 to October 2013, The nomination period will close on September 9, 2011.
We invite all members of the Nuke-Con community to nominate candidates. Send your nominee’s name and contact information (email address or phone number) to the Nomination Coordinator.
The Nomination Coordinator will contact each nominee to confirm their interest.
Nominees are encouraged to campaign to the Nuke-Con community via the Yahoo email group, Nuke-Con’s Facebook page, or other means. The election will be held during Nuke-Con 2011. Anyone holding a Nuke-Con participant’s badge will be able to vote. Voters can get their ballots at the Registration desk.
