We know all gamers hide a secret stash of rare and wonderful treasurers. Why not turn all that gamer swag into cold hard cash? Disarm all your traps and lock up the horrible creatures guarding your hoard. Turn your used games and miniatures into cash so you can buy new games and miniatures! If you can’t bear to part with your swag, come to the Nuke-Con Auction and get even more! Find that cool game or mini you’ve been looking for at a great price.

- RPGs and supplements like D&D, various Handbooks, Call of Cthulhu
- Card Games like: Mag Blast, Munchkin, Res Publica, large lots of CCG cards
- Other than paneled art, all items to be sold at the auction for the benefit of the seller must be listed with the auction coordinator prior to the convention. A sample list can be found here.
- Items that are donated for the benefit of either Nuke-Con or Toys for Tots can be donated at the convention. Donated items must be submitted before noon on Saturday, October 1.
- Rules of the convention will be applied to determine if an item is acceptable; for instance, no genuine weapons will be allowed. If in doubt, contact the auction coordinator.

WHAT KINDS OF ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE AUCTION?
- Genuine weapons of any kind!
- Console or PC games
Remember, Nuke-Con is a Family Con!
AUCTION TIMES
The silent auction will begin Friday 6:00 pm and end Saturday Night at midnight. Lots that have not sold must be picked up by 5pm Sunday.
HOW DOES THE AUCTION WORK?
The Nuke-Con auction has both a silent auction and a live auction. You may examine the lots beginning Friday evening, but the lots will be set out as they are registered, so return often to see what may be new.
- During the silent auction period, you may bid at your convenience at any time before midnight Saturday. All auction lots will have a starting bid decided upon by the seller and bids may only increase by even dollar amounts. To place a bid, you simply write your badge number, name, and bid amount on the bid sheet corresponding to the lot you’re interested in. Be sure to ask any questions about the lots you are interested in before you bid. You are responsible for your bid and they may not be retracted. Check on the auction items you’re interested in throughout the convention because you may be outbid more than once. Some items may have a buyout bid. To meet the buyout bid, take the lot to the auction table and immediately pay the buyout price. Any items with 3 or more bids will go to the live auction, which begins at noon on Sunday.
- The silent auction will end promptly at midnight Saturday night when all bid sheets will be collected.
- Items that you have purchased will be available for pickup at about 3pm Sunday (depending on how long the live auction lasts).
AFTER THE AUCTION
- Check to see if your lot is at the auction table. If it is, it hasn’t been sold.
- Go to the auction table and give them your badge number and name.
- Pay your auction fee to Nuke-Con. Options for paying for your purchases include Cash, Con Cash, check, credit card through Paypal or direct Paypal payment.
- Pick up your lots that have not sold.
- All checks will be sent out the Monday or Tuesday
- following the convention. No checks will be handed out at the end of the event.
AUCTION FEES
- All items submitted for personal sale are assessed a $1 per lot charge. No full tables will be sold.
- A 10% charge will be assessed on all sold items. This amount will be deducted from the sale proceeds.
- All checks will be sent out the Monday or Tuesday following the convention. No checks will be handed out at the end of the event.
DONATING YOUR ITEMS
If you wish to donate items to auction you may donate it to Nuke-Con or to Toys for Tots. Bring your lot to the auction and we’ll take care of the rest. There is no entry fee for lots donated to Nuke-Con or to Toys for Tots.

What is being said about Nuke-Con
The people at NukeCon couldn't have been nicer--they really took care of me. What really impressed me, though, was the incredible atmosphere. People from every genre of gaming came together in a fun, comfortable environment--how could great gaming not happen?
