Paco Sako ("Peace Chess") is a non-violent form of chess with the goal to "embrace" the other player's king. Paco Sako is played on a chess board, with chess pieces. The difference is Black and white pieces merged into a union instead of one piece taking the other. Both players move the piece, but they stay in the union. The piece can be freed by having another piece take its place, releasing your piece to make a move.
The game is focused on patterns and creativity, not on piece advantage. Both players stay in the game until the last move is made.
