Sunday August 5, 2012

In keeping with our mission to promote the positive aspects of games, Nuke-Con has decided to support the United States Marine Corps in its annual Toys for Tots campaign for the third year.

In 2011, our friends at Toys for Tots collected

$440.24 and 35 toys.

Please bring a new, unwrapped game to Nuke-Con 2012 or donate cash on-site.

Your support is priceless! Thank you so much for your generosity in the past. We look forward to another great year.

Nuke-Con Supports Kids

Sunday August 14, 2011

In keeping with our mission to promote the positive aspects of games, Nuke-Con supports the United States Marine Corps in its annual Toys for Tots campaign.

Toys for Tots

The Nuke-Con community was enormously generous in 2010, donating toys and money worth more than $1200. We hope to top that mark in 2011, and we need your help again.

You can start the weekend with this throwback to your own childhood:
Friday, 6 pm join the most grueling game of Candyland you’ve ever played. The $5 donation at the table will go directly to Toys for Tots.

Thank you all for helping out!

Nuke-Con is dedicated to supporting the community through fund raisers and drives to support 501c3 Charities.

The 2008 Convention’s primary Charity is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
$1176 was raised with the Raffle and Charity Auction this year!!!

Thank you to all who contributed!!!!

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic killer of children. CF causes mucus to build up in the organs and chokes off the child’s ability to breathe and digest food. These children undergo hours of violent shaking in concussion vests to break up the thick mucus.
