Extra Life is a fundraising program that unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In the greater Omaha metro area, funds raised go to the Childrens Hospital Foundation, which helps the hospital provide needed medical care and support for children and their families.
There are a number of ways to help out Extra Life at Nuke-Con 2022.
SELL STUFF! BUY STUFF!
Some items in the Gamer Garage Sale are dedicated to Extra Life. If you have game-related things you’d like to donate to the cause, click the link above or bring them to the convention and we’ll sell them for you. There is no listing fee for items sold for Extra Life, and all proceeds for these lots go directly to Extra Life.
PLAY GAMES!
Some board games will collect table fees, all of which go directly to Extra Life. Rumor has it that certain games may also allow you to buy dice re-rolls or other in-game perks.
BUY RAFFLE TICKETS!
There are some very generous people who have donated prizes for our Extra Life Raffle. You can buy tickets at Registration for $1 each ($5 will get you 8 tickets). Drawings will be held throughout Saturday and Sunday. Major prizes include:
- 3D Diorama of Erol Otis’s Basic D&D Cover
- Dwarven Forge Dungeon Set “Adventure Awaits”, painted and complete with miniatures
- Limited Edition Tiamat Funko
- Spelljammer Adventures in Space Book Set
