What are you excited about in regards to the Con?

Where do I start? I am excited to see my Nuke-Con family! I’m excited to meet new artists and talk about art! I am beyond excited to get the chance to draw and design people’s player characters or OC’s! I am excited to premier two new art prints at this convention! I am excited at the prospect of getting a few artists to sit with me at my table to draw with me. Just drawing while being in the room with people who are excited about their games is inspirational for me to create.

Most of all, I am excited about being home, because Nuke-Con has been my home away from home since its beginning.

What was the last Movie or Show you have watched?

The last movie I watched: THE 36TH CHAMBER OF SHAOLIN is a 1978 Hong Kong kung fu film produced by the legendary Shaw Brothers, starring Gordon Liu. The film follows a highly fictionalized version of San Te, a legendary Shaolin martial arts disciple who trained under the general Chi Shan, and brought Shaolin kung-fu to the masses. Lots of great action, lots of humor and a wonderful example of the Shaw Brothers studio at its prime.

The last documentary I watched: 24×36: A MOVIE ABOUT MOVIE POSTERS is a documentary that explores the world of illustrated movie poster art; the artists who create it, companies and studios that commission it, galleries that display it, and collectors and fans who hang it.

The latest Star Wars work: THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT v.2 is the next Star Wars card set that I worked on for Topps Cards. I can’t get enough Boba Fett now that he’s ACTUALLY cool. lol.

What is your latest Project?

FREDD GORHAM’S SKETCHBOOK V.2 is the latest volume of my artbook series. This should be out by the end of the year, and feature commentary on several of my art pieces. Also due sometime in the new year are  365 v.1 – v.2, which are two collections of my “Sketch Every Day” challenges. For one year I sketched a new sketch everyday as a way to challenge myself, and I liked it so much I did it twice.

Your greatest wish?

To grow up to be a real live boy.
